Design Hero: Nervous System

"We created Nervous System to explore a design approach that relates process and form in a context of interactivity and openness."

I've only recently found this design company and they amaze me with their outcomes! Focusing on the broadness of natural phenomena, they explore the use of new technology such as 3D Printing and lasercutting and how they can create such intricate structures. 

I predominantly use lasercutting in my work and its interesting to see the endless possibilities this type of technology can have whether its a simple cut or an elaborate pattern etched and cut into the surface of the material.
